Dear Parent:
It is that time of year again.  It is time for my preschoolers who are going to school next year to enroll in school.  Enrollment starts February 3, 2024.  The schools that we currently transport to or have a school bus that comes to the center are: German Immersion School, Mount Olive Christian School, and 81st Street School. If you have any questions about schools and transportation for school please let Ms. Jennifer. 
            We have been talking about adding a piece to the newsletter.  I would like to add a community section to the newsletter.  This is something that we started right before the pandemic. When everything got shut down that part of the newsletter got removed.  I would like to bring it back.  This part will talk about activities that you can do with your child or programs that can help you with other things that you may need help with.  An example would be the food program that I put in the last newsletter.  You would be able to get a food voucher to buy fruits and vegetables for your child.  I would like to hear what you would like to do.  Let Ms. Jennifer know if you would like this added in the newsletter. 
            Communication has been a center goal for the last three years.  The center has taken great steps to keep communication with the parents.  We do monthly newsletters and some of you don't read them, we have a website and social media and some of you didn't even know that.  We also send out reminders through text and some of you still don't do your part.  Communication takes two or more people.  I really need some of our parents to communicate with the center.  I have 21 parents.  It is hard for me to keep up with which parents need to do what.  This year I would not be able to send you reminders. To avoid interruptions in your child care you need to communicate with Teddy Bear Child Care.  If you have any questions about this please talk to Ms. Jennifer. 
A lot of you did not get a chance to attend parent-teacher conferences.  Remember that parent-teacher conferences do not have to be done in person.  Please make sure that you contact your child’s teacher to set up a conference.
